Our Supporters

Thank you to the following supporters have generously provided in- kind support to this year’s festival

Stoke-on-Trent City Council

Stoke-on-Trent City Council is committed to promoting the city as a global centre of excellence in ceramics and as a major tourist destination. In supporting British Ceramics Biennial, we can do both. Within the City Council, Stoke Town Regeneration is working to develop a masterplan to transform Stoke town into a place where people want to live, work, shop and spend their leisure time.

Arts Council

Arts Council England (ACE) works to get great art to everyone by championing, developing and investing in artistic experiences that enrich people’s lives. As the national development agency for the arts, ACE support a range of artistic activities from theatre to music, literature to dance, photography to digital art, carnival to crafts. Great art inspires us, brings us together and teaches us about ourselves and the world around us.

The Paul Hamlyn Foundation

The Paul Hamlyn Foundation makes grants to organisations which aim to maximise opportunities for individuals to experience a full quality of life, both now and in the future.  In particular the Foundation is concerned with children and young people, and others who are disadvantaged. The Foundation prefers to support work which others may find hard to fund, perhaps because it breaks new ground, is too risky or is unpopular. The Foundation also develops initiatives themselves where new thinking is required or where there are important unexplored opportunities.
