Bread in Common

The Original Spode Factory Site

2015 sees something rather special occurring in the café - BCB is collaborating with Stoke based arts company B Arts to provide the festival food. The food on offer will celebrate the diverse cultures represented in the groups that BCB and B arts work with across the city– and forms part of BCB’s wider campaign around real food and real plates.

The menu will strongly feature real bread from B arts’ own Stoke based artist run bakery; Bread in Common. The Bread in Common Café menu will change weekly throughout the festival. All our teas and coffees will be Fairtrade and will feature special guest brews. The Bread in Common Café will also offer vegan and gluten free menu choices, and of course served on locally sourced china.

The Bread in Common Café will be a haven, a place to sit and relax, to meet people and to digest the whole festival experience.

Throughout the festival watch out for special guest street food and the artist built sculptural wood-fired pizza oven. Thursday nights will be late opening events, featuring local artists at the Café so keep checking social media and website for more details.
